• Maron – sitcom – 3 series on Netflix – 4th currently filming
Born in 1963 Marc Maron is an American stand-up comedian, podcast host, writer, actor, musician, director, and producer.
He first performed stand up in 1987. He gained a reputation for being an a/hole due to his drug and alcohol abuse in the 1990s but he’s clean and better now.
First heard of him on his WTF with Marc Maron – an interview podcast, where he interviews fellow stand up, friends in the industry and also Holly wood actors, writers, directors etc.
He records it in his garage, in a free from manner since 2009.
Maron (2013-) is an exaggerated form of his real life, with stand up comedians playing themselves. Smashed the first 3 series in less than a week.

United Passions-(2014) – The Birth of the World Cup
The Guardian : United Passions is a disgrace: It’s less a movie than preposterous self-hagiography. As cinema it is excrement. As proof of corporate insanity it is a valuable case study.
New York Post: Did FIFA, the film’s producer, have something it could use to blackmail the actors? Because it’s hard to fathom why else Roth, Sam Neill and Gérard Depardieu would star in this hackily written infomercial directed by Frédéric Auburtin.
New York Times : “United Passions” is one of the most unwatchable films in recent memory, a dishonest bit of corporate-suite sanitizing that’s no good even for laughs.
